Trine 2 Release Date Announced

Frozenbyte has finally announced a release date for Trine 2. The puzzle platformer was originally announced for Spring 2011, before a subsequent delay to summer. The game was then pushed to Q4 2011, and now we have a concrete release date.

Trine 2 will launch first on Steam on December 7th. A release will follow on PSN in North America on December 20th, and on Xbox Live Arcade worldwide the following day. A European release date on PSN hasn't been announced, though Frozenbyte expects it to come "around the same time."

The game will be available for $14.99 on Steam and PSN. While a specific price wasn't announced for Xbox Live Arcade, it will presumably cost 1200 Microsoft Points, but that hasn't been confirmed.
