Technology News: A new player is going to enter next month for the ongoing tablet war. Research in Motion (RiM) owner of popular Black Berry Phones is now trying its tablet, aiming to give a tough time to Apple’s IPad 2 and Motorola Xoom.

Playbook will also carrying a new Operating system named black berry tablet operating system which also be tested along Playbook in the hands of users. 

 In USA Best Buy will be selling Playbook tablets. More store will be added soon as per RiM’s statement. Also there is no date given for international launch.

Playbook specs are 7 inch screen with 16 GB WiFi worth $499. This price shows that Playbook will compete IPad whose lowest price is the same, While Motorola Xoom cost little higher $ 599. But Motorola Xoom will also be a close competitor for Playbook.
